Lovely place to have coffee in Niagara by the Lake. They had a wide selection of different coffees and roasts, I just went for the cappuccino which tasted great (milk could’ve been a bit more foamy but wasn’t a dealbreaker). Service was very friendly and welcoming, I also learned that this cafe used to be a train station which is an interesting piece of local history I can appreciate. Would happily come back again in the future!

If you like pumpkin, you need to try their Harvest Latte! Best pumpkin latte you will buy, and it actually has some pumpkin in it! The staff know their products and take pride in their Java! Their coffee is also great, and you can buy their beans to take home!

Stopped in at Balzac’s and couldn’t believe how busy it was inside, all seating was taken and line was all through the store! Decided on picking up a couple bags of coffee to take home and skipped the coffee and sweets they offer in store. Made myself a few cups of the anniversary blend and am not disappointed! Excellent beans and can’t wait to try the Balzac’s blend once I run the bag of anniversary through my machine. Will be back earlier on the weekend or during the week to try their in store coffee and sweets next time I need to purchase beans!

The atmosphere of this location is very welcoming and warm, it’s tidy and clean, and has relatively decent space to walk and maneuver inside without feeling crowded! You’ll have no problems finding seats as there’s indoor and outdoor seating, so if you desire to take a moment to relax, you will 100% be able to take a moment to enjoy your coffee and snack. Unfortunately, there is a set of stairs to get inside the building, so it’s not fully wheelchair accessible. The staff are nice - Service was great, my barista made a little bit of extra coffee for me and poured it into a slightly bigger cup! It wasn’t too busy here, when I first arrived to when I paid and left this location, it was a 5ish minute period. There is street parking right outside, but it’s paid street parking. There is free street parking, but you do have to drive around a little bit to find it - There is a paid public parking lot basically right behind in the back, but I believe you also have to pay to park.
